WITNESS APPEAL -
HORSHAM SKATE PARK ASSAULT
At around 11pm on Friday 13th May, 2005 a 19 year old man was attacked in
Horsham skate park. He received serious injuries and remains in hospital,
although his condition is not described as life threatening.
Detectives are urgently appealing for witnesses to the incident. If you were
in the skate park, behind Horsham Fire Station, on the evening of Friday
13th of May and have any information that will assist the police in their

DS Serra said: "We are aware that there were large numbers of youths out
that night, celebrating the start of GCSE exam leave. Our appeal is
especially aimed at those young people and their parents."

Treating as GBH
There were other reports of fighting received throughout the evening,
several assaults are being investigated.
Police believe one group in particular were the instigators of the violence.
