We have come a long way in the short time we have been active starting out with low quality streams from Martin's lounge and now we have our own budget studio, streaming out much higher quality audio streams.

We are a non-profit organisation simply doing a public service. We do this because we enjoy it, we only hope you like listening as much as we like presenting & playing music.

We do regular charity events and appear at local functions. Stay tuned to the What's New page to see what's going on in the future.

The Aim of our station is to promote local bands and events. If you are a local band, holding an event or you are a group doing something just get in contact with us for some free coverage live over the air. As long as it's local it can be anything - from your band releasing a new demo to a yoga group holding lessons in the town hall. We try to announce everything happening locally regardless of whether we have been notified by someone or not.

The second aim is to get young people involved in what is going on and taking some part in running the radio service be it news, weather, IT stuff, mixing sound tracks for later use or presenting

If you want to get involved in the show, or even enquire about becoming a new Trash Can Radio presenter, then don't hesitate to contact us. We will give you alot of help and support in starting up your own show. You can even use the studio put together by Martin and use his own music library, or alternatively you can bring your own.
